Have sunk into a bit of a depression over the last couple of days, which I feel bad about considering nothing is majorly wrong in my life at the moment - especially compared to the troubles some of my f-list are experiencing right now. I'm sure I'll snap out of it; I just got so used to not feeling like shit for the first time in forever, that being back in this frame of mind is kind of a shock to the system.

Have to admit I'm a bit heart-broken over SGA being cancelled - it's not the reason for my depression but it certainly hasn't helped. This is the first time I've ever lost a show! SGA is only my second fandom after Oz, and I didn't get into Oz until a year after it had already ended, so this is new for me. *sigh*. There are no other shows around that I'm all that interested in, (other than Dexter, but that's doomed too) so I got nothing else to replace the void yet.

Oh, well. *slaps self*. Really must snap out of my funk. Maybe doing colleendetroit's meme will perk me up...

1. I have an unhealthy obsession with organisation. Seriously, filing is one of my favourite things to do.

5. My favourite season is summer. Unlike most people, I'd rather be too hot than too cold.

6. I'm going to be an auntie for the 8th time - Oldest Brother's wife is expecting.

7. When I was a toddler, my hearing was so bad I taught myself to communicate via lip reading. Which amazes me because I can't lip read for shit now.

8. I have a black iPod I named Dahlia.

My favorite season is summer as well, I HATE THE COLD seriously, I'd rather have it 100 degrees with 100 percent humidity than 30 degrees and dry.

I can't stand to be cold at all. I was born in the summer that may be it, but as a human..we should want it to be warm instead of cold..too many layers of clothing that I have to put on also makes me HATE IT.

Actually, I named my Dahlia after the real life murder victim, not James Ellroy's version - never read the book, but saw the movie and loathed it because it had very little to do with the real Black Dahlia, which is a far more interesting story.

And he's talking about it girlfriend, hahahah. Not a perfect gentleman, huh?

It's probably an Australian thing - heaps of Aussies hate summer because ours are so oppressive.

The fact that I was born on a Tuesday has always amused me - I don't know if you're familiar with the old poem about what characteristics children are supposed to have according to what day they were born - but apparently "Tuesday's child is full of grace"; which is hilarious because I'm the most uncoordinated person I know.
