I could have sworn I had tracked down every single one of Rick Chris's vintage gay Christmas paintings to share last year, but I manage to find a couple of new (to me) ones!
I love these cosy Christmas-time-in-the-village scenes, that just happen to have a couple of guys in love, smooching away in them. It's a subversion of traditional Christmas art, but at the same time it's the way things should be - there sholuld be nothing shocking or subversive about a scene like this.

I really like the little burst of color from that rainbow flag in the corner, and the child on the guy's shoulders makes a lovely statement, too.
