Here are a few things that piss me off:

1. Idiots who think it's incredibly funny to unplug the modem in the living room, while I'm on the Internet on the laptop in my bedroom - especially when I'm in the middle of chatting on Messenger, thus making me look like a rude bitch who just signs off in the middle of a conversation.

2. The fact that David Hewlett is only going to be a 45 minute drive away from me in 2 weeks and I can't go see him because no-one I know in RL likes SGA and I refuse to go to a convention by myself, WAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!! And the fact that I could have gotten one of my sisters to go with me if only Joe Flanigan would be there. But no, because Woobie's Erect-Haired Friend has deigned not to grace us with his presence, I am missing said Woobie (Woooooooobie! Waaaaaaaah!), plus Carson and Zelenka, who I also love.

I have literally been sitting and whimpering for about an hour.

3. Fanfic writers who use the term 'alot'. God-fucking-dammit, 'alot' is not a word. Not even 'alittle'.

I think you should go anyway! OMG, it's David! How can you stay away?? *g* And I'd totally go with you if I had any way of getting there, LOL.

*whimpers*. I've never been to a con before, and I'm not confident with doing new things by myself. I've got to make some new RL friends who are fannish so I don't have this problem ever again. Although maybe I'll go skulk around the suburb the convention's in in stalker-mode on the off-chance that I bump into him, *g*.

And I'd totally go with you if I had any way of getting there, LOL.

And if I had the money, I'd totally be flying you out here :o)

Well jeez, go if you want to go, don't if you don't! It's one or the other.

That's just the problem - I want to go, but I don't want to go alone. Which is my only option, therefore I can't go. *Sigh* - sorry, I'm just tired and whingey at the moment.

1. That's awful!

2.Do the Worst Case Scenario - what's the worst thing that could happen if you go ahead and go? Blink Blink - yep it'd be worth it to see him. Not that I know who it is, but you see my point.

3. My grammar check changes a lot of mine. Thank goodness. I cringe when I use it. Actually, someone should make a list of words to avoid. nudge nudge

LOL

LMAO. Sad thing is, I could probabaly do it, what with being the grammar/spelling/punctuation Nazi that I am. Like using 'drug' as opposed to 'dragged', which I have seen a billion times and still makes me grind my teeth, LOL.

Wait a sec, "dragged" is wrong?! As in "to drag something", "dragging"? I had no fucking clue.
You'd be the perfect grammar/spelling/punctuation Nazi EVER.
I should be the one to know, right?

No, no - 'dragged' is right, it's 'drug' that's wrong - like saying, "He drug himself out of bed" instead of "He dragged himself out of bed."

*Sigh*. I can't really afford it anyway. I mean I could scrape the money together, but it's probably better that I don't. I'll just suck it up and hope the opportunity comes around again someday.

I think that Joe can't go because someone said the got a role in a movie.

Oh, I hope that's true - it'd be great to see that pretty face on the big screen. Of course, it would be even better to see Hewlett, *g*.

You do whatever you have to do, what ever makes you feel comfortable, I think that they go there a few times, Australia, I think is a big draw for them.

I think that is true, I don't think he would pull out for any other reason.

P.S. I friended you, I apologize if that's forward.

I have to admit: I totally do this. And I know better, I was a freakin' English major. *hangs head in shame* I know it's not a real word... it's just one of those words that are generally accepted as real words even though they're not, like "ain't" and "y'all" -- and that's no excuse at all, is it? *g*

1.So that's what happened? But I didn't think you were being rude, I figured you had a good enough reaon, sweetie.:)

2.Look, here's the deal: you go on your own -you spend a bunch of money that you're going to have to work damn hard to get back, money that you might have used for other, more RL-ish pourposes, you might not have anyone to squee with if/when you see/meet David, and you'll probably sulk most of the way through. But, on the PRO side, you might get the chance to see/meet David, take pictures and share them with your squeeing friends on-line, you might discover that you really can have fun on your own and that it's okay to go on your own to a con becase it's THE place to meet similarly squeeing people from Australia.

3.*facedesk* Yeah, uhm, guilty. I actually use 'alright' a lot when I'm not paying attention, I remember you correcting that a couple of times.
