That was amazingly cute. Chris swearing every other word at the car had me laughing out loud; he reminds me of my (late) Aunt Thelma--that woman could cuss like a drunken sailor. Of course, the cat knows he's full of hot air. Toby leaning against Chris next to the wall and Chris admiring 'the way the orange light glinted off Toby's gold hair' is sweet and sexy. I love the AU possibilities of them! Patty.
